Ukrainian Drone Operator Dies in Belgium While Receiving Medical Treatment

A Ukrainian drone operator named Roman, who had been evacuated to Belgium after being severely burned in combat, died while receiving treatment there.

Belgian Defence Minister Theo Francken announced the death on social media. 'He was burned and was transported to our country. We were unable to save him. We had managed to save dozens of others before, but not this time,' Francken stated.

The body of the operator was repatriated to Ukraine.
