Ukrainian Forces Clear Dnipropetrovsk Areas as Russian Troops Advance in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia

In a dynamic shift along the frontlines, Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully executed clearing operations in the Dnipropetrovsk region, even as Russian troops continue to press forward in other sectors. According to a March 30 update from the analytical project DeepState, the battlefield remains highly volatile.

Russian Advances in the East and South

Recent mapping data indicates that Russian military units have made territorial gains in both the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. The DeepState analysts confirmed that the occupying forces pushed forward near two settlements in the Donetsk region—Pazeno and Rusynyi Yar—as well as near the village of Varvarivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian Successes in Dnipropetrovsk

Despite the pressure in the east and south, Ukrainian defenders achieved tactical success further central. Military personnel conducted effective sweep operations to secure territories in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Detailing the latest battlefield developments, DeepState stated: "The enemy advanced in Pazeno (Donetsk region - ed.), Rusynyi Yar (Donetsk region - ed.) and Varvarivka (Zaporizhzhia region - ed.). The Defense Forces conducted a sweep near Orestopil (Dnipropetrovsk region - ed.) and Oleksiivka (Dnipropetrovsk region - ed.)."

These recent movements build upon a continuing trend in the area. Previously, on March 26, analysts reported that Russian forces had captured additional territory around three villages in the Donetsk region, which notably included earlier advances near Pazeno.
