The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced a series of successful precision strikes against key Russian military and industrial targets. Among the most significant hits are an expensive air defense system in occupied Crimea and a major metallurgical plant in the Luhansk region.
According to the military command, Ukrainian forces successfully struck a high-value launcher belonging to an S-400 "Triumph" surface-to-air missile system. The operation took place near the settlement of Gvardiyske in the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula.
In the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, a massive fire broke out at the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant following a targeted strike. The facility had been repurposed by Russian forces to manufacture large-caliber ammunition for the ongoing war.
The General Staff also detailed several other successful operations carried out over the past 24 hours, including:
"Enemy losses and the scale of the damage are currently being clarified," the General Staff stated. "Available photographic and video materials of objective control confirm the accuracy of the executed measures."
