Ukrainian MP Goncharenko Officially Expelled from European Solidarity Faction

First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Kornienko announced at the parliamentary session on October 14 the official expulsion of MP Oleksiy Goncharenko from the European Solidarity faction, citing the faction's decision of October 5, 2026. Goncharenko is now an independent MP.

The expulsion follows Goncharenko's October 2 publication in which he stated that Ukraine is losing the war and suggested the country negotiate with Russia on all matters. European Solidarity responded that peace for Ukraine must not mean capitulation.
