On the night of April 1, a widespread air raid alert was declared across multiple regions of Ukraine in response to the looming threat of Russian attack drones. The warnings prompted immediate calls for civilians to seek safety.

Nationwide Sirens and Official Warnings

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and data from the national alert map, the threat rapidly expanded during the early hours of the morning. By 04:42 a.m., sirens were sounding throughout the northern, central, southern, and eastern regions, as well as in parts of western Ukraine.

In Kyiv, local authorities quickly responded to the incoming danger. The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) issued a direct warning to residents, stating: "An air raid alert has been declared in the capital due to the threat of enemy UAVs." Government officials urgently appealed to the public to head to the nearest shelters and remain there until the danger had passed.

Alert Lifted in Kyiv, Danger Persists Elsewhere

Following the initial wave of warnings, the situation in the capital stabilized. At 05:05 a.m., officials announced the all-clear for Kyiv, officially lifting the air raid alert for the city. However, authorities emphasized that the drone threat remained active for several other regions across the country, advising continued vigilance.
