Zelensky Expects Witkoff Briefing Friday, Talks in UAE Floated

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he expects a report from US special envoy Steve Witkoff on Friday, to be followed by a joint briefing by the teams. He spoke at a press conference with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo in Kyiv, as quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.

"First of all, tomorrow I will have a briefing from Witkoff, the time will be agreed by our teams. I receive the briefing, then there will be a joint briefing, I think, of our teams with the Americans and with the Europeans," Zelensky said.

Starlink and a possible November meeting

Zelensky added that on Friday or Saturday he wants to receive signals from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Starlink issues. He told journalists that Starlink is still operating with a restriction.

The president also recalled that a trilateral Ukraine-US-Russia meeting of high-level technical teams is possible in November. According to him, the American side proposed the United Arab Emirates as the venue.
