Zelensky Suspends Prosecutor General Kravchenko

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on September 14 suspending Prosecutor General Andriy Kravchenko from his duties. The decree was issued under Part 2, Article 11 of the Law on Martial Law and is dated September 14.

The suspension comes amid tensions over the ongoing anti-corruption investigation known as the “Karfagen” case. NABU director Semen Krivonos had earlier stated that the investigation faced “fierce resistance.”

Krivonos dismissed publications attributed to Kravchenko as “nonsense and Telegram suspicions,” declining to comment further on the materials circulating online.
