Zelenskyy: Putin Is Patient Zero of Global War Ideology

President Zelenskyy at the UN General Assembly described Vladimir Putin as 'Patient Zero' — the origin point spreading a dangerous ideology of war to other authoritarian regimes worldwide.

Targeting Russian Finances

Zelenskyy outlined Ukraine's strategy to restrict Russia's war-making capacity by targeting its financial systems and oil revenues. He called on Western partners to tighten sanctions and block revenues that fund military operations.

He argued that stopping Putin is essential not just for Ukraine but for global security, as Russia's methods are being adopted by other aggressive states.
