EasyJet Agrees £5.7bn Takeover Deal with US Investment Firm Apollo
Budget airline EasyJet has agreed to a £5.7 billion takeover offer from US private equity giant Apollo Global Management, after a rival bid from Castlelake was withdrawn. The deal values each share at £7.15, and the board has unanimously recommended shareholders accept the offer.
