Obesity May Cause Up to 11.5% of All Cancers, New Study Finds
A German Cancer Research Center study found obesity and excess body weight may be responsible for up to 11.5% of all cancers — far higher than the 2-8% previously estimated. Abdominal fat poses the greatest risk, especially in women.
