Ukraine Elected to UN Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture
Ukrainian candidate Anton Symkovych has been elected to the UN Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture for 2027-2030, marking Ukraine's first-ever representation on the body. Ukraine secured 60 votes in the first round against 22 candidates from 21 countries.
