164 Nations Back UN Resolution for Equal Earth Maps to Fix Africa's Distorted Size
The UN General Assembly voted with 164 countries in favour of a non-binding resolution promoting Equal Earth projections, which show Africa at its actual size — nearly 14 times larger than Greenland, not equal to it as Mercator maps suggest.
