Lithuania Offers to Fund Permanent US Troop Presence on Its Territory
Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius told Bloomberg the country is ready to cover the costs of deploying US troops permanently and has already raised the issue with Trump's special envoy John Cole. Currently US troops rotate through Lithuania on temporary assignment.
