As March draws to a close, Ukraine is preparing for a rainy transition into April. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the coming days will bring widespread precipitation across the country, including a mix of rain and sleet in the Carpathian Mountains.
Meteorologists indicate that the shift in weather will be felt nationwide. "On March 31 and April 1, moderate rains will pass, in the Carpathians with wet snow; on April 2, light rain is expected locally in most regions, while the west of the country will see moderate rain," the agency reported.
Despite the wet conditions, temperatures will remain relatively mild. Nighttime temperatures across Ukraine will range from 3°C to 10°C, while daytime highs will reach between 11°C and 19°C. However, the western regions will experience cooler daytime weather, with thermometers showing 5°C to 10°C. Winds will blow predominantly from the southeast at a speed of 5 to 10 meters per second.
