Death Toll in Russian Strike on Pryluky Rises to 18, Including Four Children
The death toll from a Russian ballistic missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, rose to 18, including four children, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on October 7. Another 55 people were wounded.
Zelensky named the child victims: Oleksandr, Kyrylo, and Serhiy — each just one year old — and eight-year-old Maksym. Rescue workers continued clearing the rubble.
Chernihiv Oblast police confirmed the toll and noted that dozens of wounded, including seven children, were receiving medical care.
