German FM Wadephul Meets Lavrov for First Time Since 2022 on Sidelines of UN General Assembly

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul met with Russian FM Sergei Lavrov in New York on the sidelines of UN General Assembly debates. This is the first meeting between top diplomats of the two countries since 2022; Germany initiated the encounter.
