US President Donald Trump will hold talks with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky at the NATO summit in Turkey this week, with both sides seeking a path to ending the war as front lines remain largely frozen.

Ukraine requested an emergency UN Security Council session on April 20 following Russia's April 14 combined missile and drone attack on Dnipro and other Ukrainian cities. Denmark, France, Greece, Latvia, Liberia, and the UK backed Ukraine's request.
