India Proposes Three-Part Ceasefire for Russia and Ukraine

1 min read

India has proposed a three-part ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine that would halt attacks on energy and other infrastructure, protect grain and energy flows through Black Sea ports, and ensure the safety of commercial shipping in the strategic waterway, Hindustan Times reported citing people familiar with the proposal.

The initiative marks a significant step in New Delhi's diplomatic engagement with the conflict. India maintains ties with both Kyiv and Moscow and has previously called for dialogue.
