1 min read

Russian drones attacked Kharkiv on the evening of Saturday, 24 October, hitting a shopping centre and an enterprise and injuring four people, three of them rescuers, the State Emergency Service said.

Drones struck a shopping centre in the Osnovianskyi district and a civilian enterprise in the Industrialnyi district, starting fires. One person was injured. Local media say the shopping centre is the only working Epicentr store in the city.

Second strikes on rescuers

While emergency crews were dealing with the aftermath, Russian forces struck again at the places where State Emergency Service units were working. Two rescuers were injured and a fire tanker was completely destroyed. A third rescuer was hurt while fighting the large fire in the shopping centre.

Separately, a Russian drone strike in the Novobavarskyi district killed one person and injured four. See more in our world section.
