1 min read

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 153 drones overnight on 25 October, and hits were recorded in 15 locations, the Ukrainian Air Force said.

The drones included Shaheds, S8000 "Banderol"/"Dan-T" drones, "Gerbera" drones and decoys. Ninety-two of the Shaheds were jet-powered.

What air defence achieved

As of 08:00, air defence had shot down or suppressed 119 enemy drones, including 64 of the jet-powered Shaheds. Strikes were recorded in 15 locations, and falling debris from downed drones was recorded in nine more. Nine attack drones were still in the air and combat work was continuing.

The consequences are described in our reports on the strike on a five-storey building in Vinnytsia and elsewhere in our world coverage.
