NORAD Intercepts Civilian Plane Over Trump's Mar-a-Lago Estate
US military forces intercepted a civilian aircraft that entered restricted airspace over Mar-a-Lago, the Florida estate where President Donald Trump has a residence, on Sunday, 25 October. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) announced it on X.
The command said the incident took place over Palm Beach. It sent an F-16 fighter to intercept the civilian aircraft, which had violated temporary flight restrictions over the estate.
The military jet used a standard manoeuvre to attract the attention of the civilian pilot. The pilot then made contact with the military aircraft, followed its instructions and left the restricted airspace.
NORAD did not report any further details in the information passed on by Ukrainska Pravda. Other US political news is in our Politics section.
