Russian attacks on Odesa region wound 24, including two children

Russian forces struck Odesa city and the surrounding region again on Sunday, wounding 24 people including two children, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service for the Odesa region.

The strikes damaged multiple residential apartment buildings, warehouse facilities, and an automotive service center. In one residential building, the facade and windows were destroyed and several apartments were heavily damaged. At a second location, four more apartment buildings were hit, where emergency services quickly extinguished a fire that broke out.

Widespread damage across the region

Rescue services reported that large-scale fires broke out in warehouse facilities. Workers were on scene to contain the blazes. Odesa has been subjected to repeated Russian drone and missile attacks targeting its port, energy, and civilian infrastructure throughout the war.
