On September 10, Russian forces struck a shopping center in the center of Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, killing four people and wounding more than 60. The attack occurred during daytime when the streets were crowded.

Official Statements

Interior Minister Ivan Vyhivsky confirmed the strike and said the attack happened in the middle of the day when there were many people in the streets. Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha updated casualty figures as the situation evolved.

Casualties and Damage

Four people were killed and more than 60 wounded. Among the injured are three children — boys aged 13, 14, and 15. All wounded are under medical supervision at local hospitals. Two emergency service workers were also injured while responding to the scene and were taken to hospital.

The strike sparked fires in nearby cars, outdoor market stalls, and a shop adjacent to the mall. Emergency crews worked to contain the blazes.

Context
