Strikes on Yasnohirka: one dead, 10 wounded, including a teenager

1 min read

At least one person was killed and 10 were wounded in strikes on the Kramatorsk community on Monday morning, 26 October, said Donetsk regional military administration head Vadym Filashkin on social media. Among the wounded is a 13-year-old girl.

Russian forces struck Yasnohirka four times that morning. All responsible services are working at the site and the wounded are receiving medical care. The exact number of casualties and the scale of damage are being established.

“Children should not be so close to the front line”

“The Russians are again hitting civilians — and again children suffer. Children who should not be so close to the front line. Children whose parents are responsible for their safety. I remind you that mandatory evacuation of families with children is under way across the Kramatorsk community, in a compulsory manner. This is not a whim — it is the only way to protect the children,” Filashkin said.

From 1 November, a curfew from 16:00 to 11:00 will apply across the entire free territory of the Donetsk region except two communities. The regional administration is also extending the zone of compulsory evacuation of families with children to all settlements of the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk communities. More in world news.
