Prosecutor General's Resignation Submission Not Yet Reached Parliament, Sources Say

The resignation of Ukraine's Prosecutor General has not yet formally arrived at the Verkhovna Rada despite being reportedly signed, multiple sources familiar with the parliamentary process told Ukrainian media on Tuesday.

The development introduces uncertainty about the timeline of the top prosecutor's departure and the process for appointing a successor. Under Ukrainian law, the Prosecutor General's resignation must be formally submitted to and accepted by parliament.
