Russia Attacks Critical Infrastructure in Vinnytsia Region, Fire Put Out
Russian forces attacked a critical infrastructure facility in Vinnytsia region on 20 October, causing a fire that rescuers have already put out, according to the State Emergency Service (DSNS) and Vinnytsia regional governor Natalia Zabolotna.
"Today Russian forces once again attacked Vinnytsia region. As a result of the enemy attack, a fire broke out at one of the critical infrastructure facilities," Zabolotna said. "Rescuers have now eliminated all seats of fire. DSNS bomb-disposal specialists inspected the adjacent territory for explosive objects."
No casualties
No one was hurt. In total, 68 rescuers and 14 units of equipment were involved in dealing with the consequences of the attack.
It was not the first strike on the region this month: we earlier wrote about a blackout in Vinnytsia after a Russian strike and about two strikes on civilian infrastructure in one day.
