Russia Strikes Odesa's '7km' Market Overnight, 3 People Injured

Russian occupying forces struck the '7km' market, a sprawling commercial area on the outskirts of Odesa, overnight on September 7-8, damaging trading pavilions and injuring three people, Odesa Oblast head Oleh Kiper reported.

Kiper initially reported that one 58-year-old security guard was injured and hospitalised in moderate condition. By 9:45 AM the number of casualties had risen to three: two more men born in 1972 and 1978 sought medical assistance, though neither required hospitalisation. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance to those affected.

The overnight strike on Odesa and region was part of a broader Russian attack on Ukraine with anti-ship, ballistic and cruise missiles as well as 166 attack drones, with main strikes directed at Kyiv region and Odesa region.
