Russian Shahed Drone Hits Odessa Supermarket: Three Wounded
Russian forces attacked a Tavria V grocery supermarket in Odessa region with a Shahed drone on Thursday, wounding three people and partially destroying the building. Emergency services responded immediately.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the strike: "A horrific Russian attack with a Shahed on an ordinary store in Odessa region. Russia continues its bloody terror. The store was partially destroyed, vehicles damaged. Three people wounded."
Zelensky Connects Attack to Sanction Signals
The president linked the strike to recent signals from Washington about potentially easing sanctions on Russia. He stressed that these sanctions were imposed because of Russian aggression and nothing has changed to justify lifting them. The sanctions must not be lifted, Zelensky emphasized, urging Western partners to maintain pressure on Moscow.
