Russian Strikes Hit Dnipro: Warehouse Fire, Residents Rescued from Rubble

Russian strikes targeted the city of Dnipro, setting fire to a construction materials warehouse and a private residential building. Emergency crews worked through the night to contain the blazes and search for survivors.

Rescue workers retrieved three people who had taken shelter in a basement beneath one of the damaged buildings. Two adults — a 51-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman — were transported to hospital for medical treatment. A 15-year-old boy who was also in the basement was found unharmed.

Local authorities confirmed the strikes and noted that the attacks caused significant property damage in addition to the civilian casualties. Emergency services continued assessing the full scale of destruction after the fires were brought under control.
