Trump argued that rising global diesel prices are “mostly caused by the Russia-Ukraine war, not Iran.” He stated that Ukraine had agreed to refrain from striking Russian energy facilities and that Russia had committed to the same.

“Ukraine agreed not to strike Russian energy facilities. Russia agreed to do the same,” Trump wrote.
