Ukraine launched what Russian officials described as the largest-scale offensive drone operation of 2026, sending 822 unmanned aerial vehicles toward Russian territory, with roughly 600 aimed at Moscow. Casualties and Damage in Russia

At least seven people were killed on Russian soil. Five deaths were reported in Rostov in south-western Russia, with additional fatalities in the Belgorod region and near Moscow. A warehouse belonging to Wildberries — Russia's answer to Amazon — was struck in Koledino, approximately 25 kilometres from central Moscow, injuring three people. Videos showed a large fire and towering smoke above the facility.

Wildberries has been repeatedly targeted since July. Kyiv says the strikes disrupt logistics hubs used by Russian soldiers to procure military equipment.

Kyiv Hit Four Times Overnight

Air-raid sirens sounded four separate times overnight across Kyiv. Russia said its missiles struck a FirePoint facility making parts for Ukraine's Flamingo missiles and a factory producing drone components. At least six people were injured in the Ukrainian capital, including a child, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. A book market in the Pochayna district was engulfed in flames.

Zelensky: Russia Attacks 13 Regions

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that Russia attacked 13 Ukrainian regions during the week, deploying more than 1,550 attack drones, nearly 1,560 guided aerial bombs and 62 missiles. Both sides accuse each other of striking civilian infrastructure.
