Ukraine Weather for 21–23 October: Warm, Foggy, Light Rain

Warm weather, fog in most regions and light rain are forecast for Ukraine over the coming days, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Wednesday, 21 October

The center forecasts light rain in places across the country except the west and southwest. Fog is expected at night and in the morning in Zakarpattia, the Carpathian foothills, the south and most central regions. Night temperatures will be 6–11°C, and 0–5°C in the Carpathians; daytime temperatures 12–17°C, rising to 20°C in Zakarpattia and the south.

In Kyiv and the surrounding oblast it will be cloudy with sunny spells. The capital will see no precipitation, with 9–11°C at night and 13–15°C by day. Light rain is possible in places in the oblast, with 6–11°C at night and 12–17°C in the daytime. The wind will be southeasterly at 5–10 m/s.

Thursday and Friday, 22–23 October

Light to moderate rain will pass over most regions of the right-bank part of the country and the northeast. Night temperatures will be 6–14°C and daytime 12–18°C, reaching 20–22°C in places in the south on Thursday and in Zakarpattia. On Thursday, gusts of 15–20 m/s are possible in the western regions and in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia oblasts.
