Ukrainian Forces Neutralize Over 1,000 Russian Troops and Destroy 2,000 Pieces of Equipment in 24 Hours

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to inflict heavy casualties on Russian invading forces, neutralizing 1,060 enemy personnel over the past 24 hours. Alongside the staggering troop losses, Ukrainian defenders obliterated more than 2,000 units of Russian weaponry and military hardware.

According to the latest operational update published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, the total estimated losses of Russian troops from the onset of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, through April 1, 2026, have now reached approximately 1,298,730 personnel.

Latest Equipment Losses

The daily toll on Russian military assets was particularly heavy, marked by a massive surge in downed drones and destroyed artillery. The updated total combat losses of the Russian forces include:

• Tanks: 11,828 (+2)
• Armored combat vehicles: 24,327 (+3)
• Artillery systems: 39,169 (+59)
• Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS): 1,712 (+3)
• Operational-tactical UAVs: 210,896 (+2,069)
• Vehicles and fuel tanks: 86,578 (+219)
• Special equipment: 4,107 (+2)

Military officials noted that all data regarding enemy casualties and equipment destruction is continually being verified and updated from the front lines.
