Zelensky: Russia Fired Over 100 Ballistic Missiles at Kyiv in Two Weeks
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that over the past two weeks Russia has fired more than 100 ballistic missiles at Kyiv and the Kyiv region, according to his address on October 27.
"Everyone hears and everyone sees that it is currently hard for us to defend against Russian ballistic missiles. And there are above all not enough missiles for the Patriots. Just in October alone, since the 14th, there have already been several Russian ballistic attacks. In effect, over two weeks, more than 100 ballistic missiles against Kyiv and the Kyiv region," Zelensky said.
Protecting energy and logistics
"We are doing everything possible to preserve our energy sector, our infrastructure, our logistics. The task is very difficult," the president added. He said Ukraine is trying to do everything it can to secure new support packages.
Talks planned for November
On diplomacy, Zelensky said: "For November we expect a trilateral format: Ukrainian, American and Russian representatives. It is important that Europe also takes part in all diplomatic moves. Ukraine always insists that Europe must be present and must be a participant in the decisions."
Earlier on Tuesday, Zelensky said Russia had fired 16 ballistic missiles and 280 drones overnight. See also our world news.
