Ukraine and Bulgaria have signed a 10-year bilateral security agreement focusing on military aid, defense industry integration, and Black Sea security. The pact, the 29th of its kind under the G7 declaration, also guarantees rapid consultations in the event of renewed aggression.

The Bulgarian government has announced its intention to join the PURL program to purchase US weapons for Ukraine, closely following the signing of a 10-year bilateral security agreement.
