Tour de France 2026 Final Stage Shortened as Wildfires Hit Security
The final stage of the 2026 Tour de France has been shortened from 133km to 89km after France's Interior Ministry redeployed security forces from the race to wildfire evacuations. Stage 21 will now start on the Champs-Élysées instead of Thoiry, but the Montmartre circuit remains.
