Russian forces launched a relentless wave of nearly 70 artillery and drone strikes against the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region on March 30. The extensive bombardment claimed the life of one civilian and left 12 others wounded, local authorities reported.
According to Oleksandr Hanzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the attacks took a heavy toll on the civilian population. A 65-year-old man was killed in the Pokrovske community, where two other men, aged 55 and 62, sustained injuries.
"In the Pokrovske community, a 65-year-old man was killed, and men aged 55 and 62 were injured. In Nikopol, an enemy attack injured 8 people. Men aged 45 and 54 have been hospitalized in severe condition. In the Myrivske community, a 73-year-old woman was wounded. She is hospitalized, and doctors assess her condition as moderate," Hanzha stated. Earlier reports indicated that the eight casualties in Nikopol were specifically targeted by a Russian FPV drone.
Additionally, a 68-year-old man was injured during strikes on the Zelenodolsk and Hrushivka communities. He is currently receiving hospital care in moderate condition.
