EU Calls on Russia to Stop Attacks on Commercial Ships in Black Sea

The European Union called on Russia to stop attacking commercial vessels in the Black Sea and said it was providing satellite imagery to Romania and Bulgaria at their request to monitor the situation. EU spokesperson Kristian Wigand described the attacks as completely unacceptable.

Wigand warned that Russia's aggressive actions create serious threats to maritime security. Grain-laden ships were among the vessels targeted in recent strikes.
