Russian forces launched a series of FPV drone strikes against civilian vehicles in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, on 12 September, leaving three people dead and four wounded across three separate attacks in the city centre.

The first strike at 11:10 hit a moving car, killing a man born in 1980 and wounding a woman born in 1983. Just over an hour later, at 12:15, an FPV drone targeted vehicles parked near a grocery store, killing a man born in 1941 and wounding a woman born in 1965 and a man born in 1985. A third attack struck nearly the same location at 12:30, killing a woman born in 1979 and wounding a man born in 1974.

City Council: Only Civilian Vehicles Were Hit

The Kramatorsk city council stressed that in each case the targets were ordinary civilian cars, not military vehicles or infrastructure. "Three strikes against civilian vehicles in the city centre in one morning — twice against moving cars, once against vehicles parked near a shop," the council stated.

The repeated strikes in a single area over just over an hour suggest the use of drone operators persistently hunting civilian movement on a weekend day, in a part of Donetsk region that lies close to the active front line.
