The US, Iran and Oman are reportedly on the verge of a transitional deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as early as Wednesday, with Trump saying talks are going well while threatening Iran with strikes if no agreement is reached.

Trump threatened to bomb Iranian infrastructure unless Tehran returns to ceasefire talks, as the two sides exchanged fire for the fourth consecutive day and the US resumed its blockade of Iranian ports.
