Russia Using Small Infantry Groups to Probe Ukrainian Defenses in Slobozhanshchyna

Russian forces are continuously attempting to find gaps in Ukrainian defense lines using small and very small infantry groups in the Slobozhanshchyna direction, according to the spokesperson of the Joint Forces Group Viktor Trehubov.

Direct quote: "In the South-Slobozhanshchyna direction first of all, and also in the North-Slobozhanshchyna direction, there are constant attempts by small, and recently very small, Russian infantry groups to find gaps in Ukrainian positions and entrench themselves where there is no direct control by Ukrainian forces, particularly in the gaps between Ukrainian positions."

Trehubov noted that Russians are gradually reducing the size of such groups to be less visible, and that equipment is not being used en masse in these directions. There are some signs that Russia is currently experiencing a period of resource exhaustion on the main fronts, he added.
