Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky announced that Ukraine has received €3.3 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Support Loan program. The funds will be directed toward priority defense needs, specifically the purchase of drones and missiles.

I thank European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission, and all EU member states for their consistent support of Ukraine and the strengthening of our defense forces,” said Koretsky.
Earlier, in her annual address to the European Parliament, von der Leyen announced the creation of a European Security Council with Ukrainian participation and promised Ukraine Patriot missiles and a joint system based on “Freya.”
